Zachary Fuge grew up in Virginia Beach, VA. Before transferring to Virginia Tech in Fall 2020, he received his A.S. Degree in Engineering from Tidewater Community College. Currently Zach is in his junior year, working to complete his B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering with a major in Robotics and Mechatronics. His interest in the TREC lab consists of working on embedded systems, especially low-level hardware design, learning more about controls, and implementation of new sensor and hardware. Project that he works on are PANDORA and ESCHER. Outside of the lab, Zach enjoys working on his own projects related to robotics, hiking and a passion for astronomy.
