Jingyu (Jerry) Liang graduated from VT with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and decided to continue at VT for his master's degree, also in ME. He joined the TREC Lab in spring 2021 as an undergrad researcher working with CAD mechanical design and 3D printing operation. He was also a former ME design leader of the TREC lab's Robogrinder Robotics Club, which won many international level awards from Robomaster Robotics Tornaments. His current research is focusing on the mechanical design of the human-to-machine foot binding platform of the ForceBot gantry project.
