Ismail Hakki Gezer is from Turkey. His academic studies are focused around advanced robotics with a focus on internet-based telerobotic systems. He received his B.S. and M.S. degrees in Mechatronics Engineering from Marmara University. In addition, he worked professionally as a mechatronics engineer, R&D manager, and project manager in the industrial robot sector for about 5 years carrying out various industrial robotics applications. Ismail joined TREC Lab in 2023 to pursue his PhD in Mechanical Engineering. His career goal is to lead the development of technologies that will benefit humanity in fields such as education, health and production, both in academia and industry.
