Connor Herron received two bachelor’s degrees from Virginia Tech in Mechanical Engineering and Electrical Engineering in 2020. Connor joined the TREC lab in Summer 2017 as an undergraduate researcher. His undergraduate research focused on a range of topics surrounding robotics from Mechanical design, stress evaluation, PCB design, sensor integration, analog and digital filtering, system identification, and controller design. He has been a part of the new full-sized humanoid robot made entirely of 3D printed components and in Fall 2020 began his Graduate research studying higher-level controls applications in robotics.
